What You'll Do as an Engine Rebuild Mechanic:
As an Engine Rebuild Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in disassembling, repairing, and restoring diesel and natural gas industrial engines. You'll work on power systems that support vital infrastructure and industries throughout Texas. Responsibilities include:
* Disassemble, inspect, and recondition diesel and natural gas engines
* Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
* Remove and install engines and generator systems
* Test and adjust components for optimal performance
* Conduct technical analysis and failure diagnosis
* Work independently in the shop or at customer sites using a field service truck

Requirements:
* Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Associate's degree or certificate from a technical school preferred
* Previous mechanic or military experience
* Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and engine systems
* Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical problems independently
